The Cévennes national Park is managed by a state-owned administrative company, under the supervision of the Environment Ministry. Its headquarters are in Florac.
Its annual budget is in the region of 7m euros (2008 data). Its resources come from the State, public subsidies and its own assets.
The director, with the help of the assistant director, secretary general, heads of departments and field offices, has at his disposal a team of 92 permanent officials (both civil servants and contracted employees) divided between the headquarters and field offices.
The company has a Board of Directors appointed by the Minister in charge of the environment. It symbolises the local nature of the Park’s governance.
